Jr. Lady Warriors, Inc. is a non-profit basketball program for girls in grade 3 through 8 who live in the Mohonasen Central School District in Rotterdam, New York.
Our 2025-2026 teams are full!
If you would still like to register, we will save your player as an alternative until we finalize our season rosters. In some cases players who have registered may not be able to participate in the full season and we can include alternate players.
The JLW season consists of two 90 minute practices per week at Bradt Primary School or Pinewood Elementary School (based on gym and coach availability) and a game on Saturday morning (there may be a game or two on Sunday during the season). Home games will be played at either the Draper Middle School gym or the Mohonasen High School gym. Away games are all within the capital district, usually within a 30-minute drive.
Home games require the assistance of parents. We'd appreciate your help in running the concession stand, running the game clock, or keeping track of the gameplay book.
Season fee: $180 per player or $160 per player for siblings.
After signing up you'll be invited in the following weeks to join TeamSnap, a smartphone app. This will be the communication platform where the parents will have access to the practice schedule and all game information. We recommend that you always check the TeamSnap schedule before every practice and game in the case something has changed.
Game play rules will need to be acknowledged below.
Two waivers are required to be digitally signed below and submitted.
If you have any questions, please call or text Bill Murray at 518-469-2372 or email 4jlwbball@gmail.com.
Attendance expectations
Grade 3, 4, 5 and 6 Teams: Players must attend all practices the week prior to game to participate in full game. If player misses one of the two practices they will only be able to play second half of game (this applies only if the coach is notified that your daughter will be missing practice before the that missed practice). If a player misses both practices, they will not play in the game but must be there at the game (in uniform ready to play) to be eligible for the following week's game.
Grade 7 and 8 Teams: Non- modified players must attend all practices the week prior to game to participate in full game. If non-modified player misses one of the two practices they will only be able to play second half of game (this applies only if the coach is notified that your daughter will be missing practice before the that missed practice). If a non-modified player misses both practices, they will not play in the game but must be there at the game (in uniform ready to play) to be eligible for the following week's game. Modified players must attend the set single mandatory practice the week prior to game to participate in game. If a modified player is not able to make the mandatory practice the week before the game, they will need to communicate with the coach to attend the optional practice day. For the following week, the player will join the normal mandatory practice schedule again. If the modified player doesn't make a practice the week before the game, they will not play in the game but must be there at the game (in uniform ready to play) to be eligible for the following week's game.
Submission of this form constitutes acceptance of these terms.
